Toddlers

Focusing on education through a play-based learning style is excellent for this age group, as it encourages exploration, creativity, and hands-on learning. Assisting with potty training is also a valuable service for parents and helps children achieve an important developmental milestone. With experienced teachers, there’s ample support to ensure each child’s needs are met, fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for their growth and development.

3 - 5 year olds

Jr Kindergarten

Incorporating early literacy and numeracy into your 3 to 5-year-old rooms alongside play-based learning is an effective approach to preparing children for kindergarten and beyond. Ample outdoor time provides opportunities for physical activity and exploration, complementing their cognitive and social development. Having a structured curriculum led by an Alberta certified teacher ensures that educational activities are age-appropriate and aligned with learning objectives. This preparation equips children with the skills and knowledge they need to transition smoothly into our kindergarten program or the public school sector, setting them up for success in their academic journey. Adjusting the ratios based on the age of the majority in each room ensures that the needs of children at different developmental stages are appropriately met. This flexibility allows for more tailored care and attention, as younger children may require more individualized support compared to older ones. Adapting the ratios to accommodate the age distribution helps maintain a safe and nurturing environment while maximizing the learning opportunities for each child.
